We Are Open - Clinic Policies
We have been back to work for the last 2 weeks. It has been fantastic to see all of you again. Your safety is at the forefront of our minds. Here are the clinic policies that we have set in place.
Before Your Visit
You will receive an email with a COVID-19 screening questionnaire 24 hours prior to your appointment. Please fill it out prior to each visit at the clinic. If you are unable to access the survey, the doctor will call you prior to your appointment.
If you are continuing to see me via telemedicine, you will not be required to fill out the survey.
Patients who need to reschedule their appointment due to sickness will not be charged for a short-notice cancellation. If appropriate, this appointment can be moved to telemedicine.
During Your Visit
- Please arrive at the time of your appointment and wait outside. Do not bring extra family or friends to your appointment.
- Washrooms are currently unavailable at the clinic. Please use the bathroom before you leave your home.
- Please only bring necessary items into your appointment.
- Wait in your car or outside of the clinic.
- Entrance will be through the side door, on the south side of the building — where there is a ramp leading up to the office. The doctor will open the door for you, reducing contact for you. This entrance leads directly into the doctor's clinic room, optimizing social distancing.
- Dr. O'Neill will be spacing out appointments, allowing for cleaning to be done between appointments.
- Masks are encouraged to be worn by patients. We have masks for you if you have forgotten your own; they will be available for purchase for $2.
- Hand sanitizer will be available for use upon entering and leaving the clinic.
Payment & Rebooking
If you have entered a credit card into our Jane app program, we can complete payment using this app. We are currently only providing email receipts. We can also accept payment using our POS system; tap is available for payments under $100.
Rebooking can occur at the time of your visit or through my virtual receptionist. You can call the clinic in the same way as you have before – 250-770-1079. Mallory will help you rebook. You also have the option to book online.
Telemedicine
We are still encouraging telemedicine appointments when appropriate. Telemedicine is suitable for hormone balancing and mental health consults. Patients who have accessed telemedicine over the last two months have enjoyed receiving health care in the comfort of their home.
