JOINT HEALTH REBOOT CHALLENGE
Today we are going to talk about
Goal setting & Creating habits
When it comes to relieving joint pain and staying active
goal setting and habit formation are key.
Setting clear achievable goals not only helps you track progress
but keeps you motivated on your journey to better health.
Here are my 2 tips:
Follow the 4 Laws of Habit formation
Make It Obvious
. This means putting your new habit in line of sight.
Put your gym shoes at the front of your door to remind you to go for a walk daily.
Make It Attractive
. Find a form of exercise that you enjoy.
Or have a friend join you at the gym.
Make It Easy
. Break down your habit into small achievable steps.
Make It Satisfying
. Find ways to reward yourself.
If you can make your new habit stick, reward yourself with a massage.
Add a New Activity once per week
This may be a 5 minute morning stretch. Or a short evening walk.
Here’s to
PAIN FREE
living!!
